Star Trek

Mankind I think is very hopeful and we can get better.  We are OK at a lot of stuff.  Mankind can learn.  Just look what we have have done with this earth.  We have made  a lot of stuff, for example light bulbs, computers and cars.  That is why I think mankind is a promising species.

Man has made a lot of stuff which I think has made the world better.  We have invented computers which have gotten rid of a lot of letters.  Thomas Edison invented the light bulb which gave us light.  When we got cars, we said goodbye to almost all horse drawn carriages.  Those are a few examples of some of the things we have invented.

I think mankind is a hopeful species.  We have made a lot of stuff. The things we do could make the world a better place, or a worse place.  Humans are good at a lot of stuff.  Humans can learn a lot of stuff just look at Albert Einstein.

Science Systems Essay: A Letter to the Human Body Corporation

             Dear Human Body Corporation:

Don't fire the Nervous system or you will regret it.
Go ahead and fire me if you want to have a spinal cord injury.  You would also not be able to feel any thing and how lame would that be. Also you wouldn't have a brain that kinda speaks for its self. So if you wanna have a spinal cord injury, or not be able to feel and then go ahead and fire me.

If you wanna a spinal cord injury this should be fun.
Did you know that if you have a spinal cord injury that it could block info from the lower half.  Without your spine you could walk so say hello to a wheel chair.  You also wouldn't know if any part of your body was injured because your spinal cord injury would block info to and from your brain.  So because of those reasons I would reconsider firing me.

So who wants to not be able to feel anything at all because your nervous system allows you feel stuff. What if you caught on fire you wouldn't know and then you would get a really bad burn.  If you cant feel you wont know what soft means.  What if you got cut you wouldn't know and then you might bleed to death and that would be sad.  So you should not fire or you will regret it.

If you fire me you will regret it because you wont have a brain and that would be sad.

Without a brain you cant talk and nobody would understand you.  Without a brain you cant think so you be stuck in the same grade forever and that would be bad.  Without a brain you be just plain dumb and you would most likely get made fun of. So you shouldn't fire me your most wonderful worker the Nervous system.

So if you wanna have a spinal cord injury, not be able to feel or not have a brain then fire me.
If you wanna have a spinal cord injury which would probable block info to and from your brain fire me.  Without me you would no be able to feel anything  and that would be very sad.  So lets not be no brainless please and not fire me because you would lose your brain. So if you fire me you will live to regret it so don't fire me.

Sincerely,
Nervous system

There should be no homework

                                      There should be no homework

People could build building out all the homework  there is in the world!
Homework is bad because it gives paper cuts if you hold it wrong. Homework kills trees, and without trees there would be no Earth. Sometimes homework is so boring it makes me fall asleep, so it does not get done and I get a bad grades.  So there should be no homework.

Homework gives paper cuts. When it cuts me, it really hurts and if you lose to much blood you could die.  If you got a cut while doing homework, you might want to go get a band-aid and the wind might blow your homework away and then you might get a bad grade. When you have a paper cut it's hard to hold a pencil with your fingers. So there should be no homework, because it gives me paper cuts.

Homework kills trees so there should be no homework.  If there are no trees there is no oxygen, and without oxygen, there are no plants or animals, and that would mean no food for humans. Without trees, there would be no beautiful log cabins. No trees means no fire, because there would be no fire wood. So there should be no homework, because it kills trees.

There should be no homework because it makes me fall asleep.
Homework is so boring it makes me fall asleep and then I wake up early and and have to go to bed early, and it messes up my sleep routine. When I fall asleep I don't get it done, and then I get a bad grade. When I fall asleep, I don't have a-lot of family time because I fall asleep. So there should be no homework because it makes me fall asleep.

There should be no homework. Homework gives paper cuts and then I cant get I done
because I cant hold my pencil. Homework kills trees and without trees there would be no oxygen and without oxygen there would be no humans. It makes me fall asleep and if I'm asleep, I can have no family time. There should be no homework because it ruins the Earth.

5 Paragraph Essay Practice

Naomi The best Vet There ever was!  When I grow up I think I'd make a great vet.  I've always enjoyed  animals.  One of my favorite things to do is be around animals.  I even have some experience at a farm.  I love animals, I have four animals, and I don't mind seeing blood, therefor I will be the best vet there ever was!

Loving animals has always come naturally to me.  There was that time when I got to help a vet neuter a horse.  I'm always willing to help animals when their in need.  Whenever I see them, I jump for joy! Being able to love animals is the first step in becoming a vet.

Having four animals is another thing  I really enjoy. It's so exiting to take care of them.  When I'm helping them I feel like having four animals.  Is going to make me scream, what a dog is to it's tail.  Being able to help animals the rest of my life would be awesome!

Not minding seeing blood takes special talent. I gained a lot of experience at the farm watching four baby cows be born.  I learned alot about the cows there.  For example, if cows feet are not trimmed they grow up. The time I spent at the farm is sure to give me an advantage when it comes to becoming a vet.

The three most important ingredients required in order to become a successful vet are I love animals, having four animals  and not minding seeing blood, and I've got them all! I want to see many breeds. I'm never so happy as when I'm in the midst of animals.  It's like Carina said," I'm just a natural." When I'm with animals, I feel like I'm going to explode, and that's why I'll be the best vet there ever was!

Leaving Protection ( Will Hobbs Book Review )

Leaving Protection is a book about a boy named Robbie Daniels from Port Protection.Robbie goes to Craig in search of a job on a fishing troller .  While Robbie is searching,  he  meets Tor Torson , who is the captain of a troller named the the Storm Petrel.  Tor hires Robbie to fish for the king salmon season .  While out, Robbie discovers that Tor is an antique dealer and has discovered some Russian plaques.Tor has been selling them on the black market for a high price .  While there fishing , a storm causes Tor to fall over board and Robbie tries to gaff him in the shoulder and pull him to the boat .  It doesn't work and Tor dies, but Robbie is still in danger.  He heads for Lituia Bay, but there is a sand bar.  Then all of a sudden, a big wave lifts Robbie up and over the and bar and he makes it.  Robbie then has to call Tor's daughter, and she trades Robbie's family the Storm Peterel for their boat and also gives the Russian plaques to the government.

I think the lesson Robbie learns is that you need to think before you act.  Robbie should have thought about going on to Tor's boat before he did it.  Tor should have thought about going out on the deck during a storm without wearing a survival suit.  Robbie thought about running away when they were on the island, but Tor could 've just shot him.  Robbie had to think how to get over the sand bar to get into Lituia bay.  So that is why I think that the lesson Robbie learns is that he needs to think before he acts.

I would recommend Leaving Protection  because it's action filled and you can learn from it.  From the very beginning, there is action.  Robbie is fishing, finding plaques, and you can learn Russian history about the plaques.  That is why I recommend Leaving Protection.
